Update 1.1 Now Available

I am pleased to announce the release of the very first update for The Voyages of Skipper Jimi: A Voyage to Silvered Shoals.  You can read the patch notes for Update 1.1 below. Please save this over your old game files, or simply delete your old files and use the new files instead. While you should be able to access old saved game data, I recommend you start a new game to make sure all of the new features will work properly.

I'd like to offer special thanks to Hundred Poet and Baron Feisten for vigorously testing the game in the first week after launch. Your bug reports and suggestions made this update possible. 

Update 1.1 (June 8, 2025) - Patch Notes

- Based on player feedback, numerous changes and improvements have been made to quests. Enjoy the new challenges!

- Several Easter Eggs that hint about future updates to the game have been added. 

- Frosty Village Dodo can now be discovered!

- You should no longer be able to obtain a lifetime supply of certain quest items.

- Certain chests were not properly displaying text or giving the items promised by the text. This has been resolved!

- Bill no longer roams around Frosty Village

- Jimi is no longer spry enough to climb walls and roofs in Blueberry Banke, Hog Island, or Port Picaroon. 

- Galen's chickens have lost their ability to transcend time and space. 

- Various mining glitches and annoyances have been addressed.

- Improved landscaping.
